Kong armature hands and fingers

I finished up Kong's revised hands and fingers this weekend.  I decided to separate the fingers from the hands to prevent damage during shipping.  I'm really pleased with how they turned out.  I wish I could have kept them intact, but that's okay. This option makes more sense and I gain a little peace of mind as a result.

Instruction Sheet for Kong's Hand

There will be a addendum to the original instructions showing which finger goes where.  Even if a finger or two breaks off from the sprue during shipping - you should be able to match them to the instructions.  They are pretty sturdy, so I don't anticipate this happening too often.

Now that this has been resolved, the Kong kits can resume shipping this week.  I still have a lot to get through, so please continue to be patient.  You'll receive an email when your Kong ships along with tracking info.  Hang in there!

Thank you for keeping us updated. Can't wait till it arrives. I haven't painted a model since I was 11 but I bought primer and paint to paint this one along with the brushes, too.

That's great to hear! I hope you keep going and build some other kits as well. It's such a rewarding hobby.
