This week, we've decided to shuffle around the order of our upcoming projects.  Originally, I wanted to do the Kong armature variant next, but we are now going to push that back a bit.  We'll instead be revisiting Karloff as the 'Monster'.  I recently let a few people know that this project was going to be a future release, so I may as well make it official.

I know...I know....do we really need yet another kit of Frankenstein's monster?  I'm not sure that we do, but I certainly have my reasons for doing one. The Karloff bust that we offer was my first-ever attempt at sculpting a portrait in clay, so I really want to take another crack at him.  Since he was my first in clay - I think it would be appropriate to also make him my first digital portrait sculpt.

My other reason for wanting to do this one next is that our 1:6 Lab Kit needs a figure to complete it.  I've been wanting to add one for a few years now, so our next model kit will be of Karloff on the lab table from the 1931 film.  He won't be all bandaged up, but will instead appear as he did in the dissection scene.  I like how his face and torso are exposed here.  I think this will be the perfect addition to our Lab Kit diorama, but we'll also offer an optional base for it, so it can still be displayed independent of the lab equipment.

This should be fun! I'll do my best to keep the kit under 37 parts this time. We'll certainly post updates here as soon as it makes sense to do so.
