Upcoming KONG Kit - Sneak Peek!

This is a quick mock-up I did a while back of our next Kong-related kit. It is certainly a WIP at this stage. Laura and I are both really excited about this one and couldn't wait any longer to share it. This won't be released until Bruce v2 is finished and goes up for sale, but should be available before Christmas 2026.

The overall concept is inspired by 'Steel in Love' - a short film by Tom Woodruff, Jr. . In the story, the Kong armature comes to life and finds some old artifacts from the 1933 classic - including a few movie stills of Fay Ray and the rest of the cast.

Our kit captures a heart-broken Kong as he longingly gazes at a pic of Fay. I placed his hand over his heart to indicate how much he's hurting. He sits atop an old film reel which contains a sequence of frames showing Kong's final moments - the very last time he holds Ann.

We're really excited about this kit! Hope all of you Kong fans are too! This will be offered as a DIY kit as well as pre-painted.

Again...this is a mock up. Lots of things left to do.
